Seasoned breadcrumbs



French Bread
Garlic powder
Parsley
Oregano
Salt
Pepper
Sage
Thyme
Tarragon

Tear slices of bread into quarters. Place a few at a time in a food processor and blend until coarsely chopped. Spread breadcrumbs on cookie sheet and allow to dry on counter or heat oven to 170 F and bake for 1-2 hours or until dry. Add desired seasonings, then freeze until ready to use.

Great way to use up leftover bread and the heels of bread loaves. Use the crumbs to coat chicken, fish, add to meat loaves or sprinkle on top of your favorite casseroles or vegetables.
